Ginette Racette, painter

Ginette Racette was born in 1950 in St-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec.

She studied at the Silvia Araya Academy of Fine Arts from 1987 to 1990. At the same time, she took painting workshops with the artist Rémi Clark.

Passionate about drawing and painting, she loves working with pastels and acrylics. She is also fascinated by urban and rural scenes and today specializes in scenes from Old Quebec. His nocturnal representations of the city are particularly remarkable. Ginette Racette's paintings are distinguished by their luminosity and the warmth that emanate from them as well as by their very high quality technical production.
