For Kristine painting is something necessary, vital, like breathing. She paints to express herself and her emotions. Her creative process and way of evolving a piece stems from her life experiences.
Colour has always fascinated Kristine. She is interested by many themes and loves exploring new subjects, figurative and abstract. She works with many processes; currently acrylic on canvas constitutes the majority of her work.
The use of signs, symbols and imprints are very present in her work. Dogs, rabbits and birds are symbolic animals that often appear in her pieces.
In 2000, she received her Visual Arts certificate from the United States.
