Born in Peru in 1965

Augustin Rojas studied at the Beaux-Arts School of Lima in 1992 where he graduated with the highest honours. Afterwards, he studied in various workshops with famous painters such as José Aldana and Miguel Nieri.

Rojas demonstrates great energy in rediscovering the beauty of the human body through his nudes. He considers his neo-figurativism as a reflection of the most beautiful shapes and forms created by God. His harmonious compositions well reflect his long time search to attain perfection. When one sets his gaze upon a Rojas painting, one is instantly soothed and eased.
