Angela Morgan lives and works in Fernie, British Columbia, Canada.

It is with distinction that Angela Morgan completed her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts degree in the year 2000, at the University of Calgary. She had previously studied at University of Regina in Saskatchewan, at Concordia University in Montreal, and at Bismarck’s State College in North Dakota while being honoured with several scholarships and awards.

In her own words, Angela Morgan’s paintings ‘celebrate humanity through a unique use of colour, pattern, and line…the human figures express the poses of life, the jubilation of dance, the contemplation of parenthood, and the melancholy of summer’s end.’ One can observe how the colours fuse and meld to achieve gesture: transforming abstract images into living moments.

Since 2001, her work has been shown in solo and group exhibits across Canada, in Switzerland , and also in New York.
