Born in Junin, Peru.
Diana Mendoza graduated in the sixties from the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes with one of the highest awards in the speciality of painting and drawing. She was also recognized for her exceptional work as a painting teacher. Furthermore, she worked as a designer before devoting her entire time to painting. Mendoza can also take pride in her work as an accomplished musician as well as being the mother of several children.
