Lajeunesse, Éric

Medium : Photography

Éric Lajeunesse was born in 1964. He now resides in the Eastern townships in the pleasant village of St-Étienne de Bolton. Mr. Lajeunesse has worked for over twenty years as a professional photographer.

Éric is a curious and imaginative artist who loves to capture on film various scenes of our urban environment and its inhabitants. Through his portraits he tries to convey the complexities and beauty of the human form. Inspired by the central themes of movement and inertia, Éric creates images that showcase the limitless expressions of the human form, which are then elevated to a brilliant intensity of light.

In most instances, Mr. Lajeunesse captures fleeting moments of everyday life with a great deal of sensitivity that creates an imaginary world in which we can share their emotions.

“Behind our ordinary everyday mundane routine hides a world that is perceived by few that opens up a universe of great beauty.” É.L.
