Born in 1949 in the Lac-St-Jean region, Réjean Dallaire now resides in the Quebec City area.
Self-taught, Réjean Dallaire works mostly with oil. For the past twenty-five years, Dallaire has developed a very personal style. He draws a thick black line around his subject, creating an eye-catching contour. Inside this line, his brushstroke is very spontaneous. The final image that remains is then very pleasing to the eye.
