Born in 1964 in Baie-Comeau, Quebec, Kathy Clavette now resides in Quebec City.
Self-taught, Kathy Clavette completed her Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering in 1984 and worked as a technical designer from then on. To satisfy a creative need, she began to paint in 1990. Painting gave her the freedom of expression she sought. Since then, she has been exploring form and colour through the use of fields of flowers.
