Born in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec, in 1955, Ginette Berthiaume now resides in Sainte-Rosalie.
As a self-taught artist, Ginette Berthiaume has devoted herself to painting since 1989. She also sculpts and dabbles in photography. Concerning her work she says: “My art is figurative; it is important for me to study, to observe, to sketch on location as well as to photograph the subjects before I begin to paint.” Ginette has also taught painting since 1989 and acts as a judge at many art exhibitions.
